Volunteer At Summer Camp
Apprentice Counselor Program
Want to make a difference? We would like to invite you to participate in the Apprentice Counselor program. Apprentice Counselors are role models and aid the counselors in all aspects of camp. An Apprentice Counselor is a young adult between the ages of 14 and 17 who volunteers to help at camp for at least 6 weeks during the summer.
We will be offering a week of training, a requirement for all apprentice counselor applicants. The training will involve improving skills in leadership, teamwork, and working with younger children. Training will be held June 6-10, 2010, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Cost is $45 per participant. Application deadline: May 15. Registrations received after May 15 will be assessed an additional $15 late processing fee. Download applications below.
After the training, the staff will select those applicants who we believe have demonstrated the desire and skills to serve as a volunteer apprentice counselor.
