School-Age Centers
School Age Child Care
As the largest childcare provider in Winnebago County, your YMCA
provides family-centered, values-based programs to nurture children’s
healthy development.
YMCA School Age Centers are located at elementary schools throughout
Winnebago County. Working with both the Rockford and Harlem school
districts, this program offers a quality childcare program that
is affordable and conveniently located right at the elementary
school. In addition to providing childcare in a safe, nurturing
environment, parents trust in knowing that all activities at the
YMCA School Age Center promote character development through caring,
respect, honesty and responsibility. This successful program has
positively influenced the lives of thousands of Rock River Valley
families.
