Community Impact

The goal of Community Impact is to produce lasting changes in the community. This work is difficult and complex, but YMCA's across the country have proven that it can be done.

Our Community Iniative is built on the concept that our local community can work together to give all community members healthy choices and support the pursuit of healthy lifestyles. More than 160 Y's are working in collaboration with community leaders to make changes in policies and the physical surroundings in those communities so that healthy living is within reach for individuals for all ages and backgrounds.
