The best backyard for outdoor fun! Camp Winnebago, located one mile north of Rockford, rests in the wilderness just minutes from downtown Rockford. Camp Winnebago's 150 acre property includes three beautiful log lodges, two pavilions, climbing tower, ponds, a marsh, woodlands, streams, fields, prairies, and a natural spring.

School's Out Winter Break CampThe 2011 Summer Camp Counselors are returning for a fun new Winter Break Camp! Camp W is gearing up for an exciting indoor/ outdoor winter experience for children Kindergarten through 6th grade and who are 5-12 years old. Everyday will be a new adventure with Indoor and outdoor games, interesting crafts, hikes, snow shoes, the black hole, snow man building, smores and more! Everyone will need to bring their lunch, snow pants, boots, and extra socks. Be ready to play outside! (weather permitting of course).

Camp Winnebago engages over 200 kids daily in productive, fun, and educational activities over the summer months and during non-school days. Utilizing the outdoor classroom, kids learn about nature, the environment and our ecosystems while building leadership skills and positive character values.

- It takes $600 to send 2 student groups to a one-day environmental education program.
- It takes $110 to have a 1 child attend Camp Winnebago Summer Camp.
