The ID Pennock Family YMCA has a long rich history in the Rockford Community.  This particular branch is noted as the 7th largest YMCA facility in the United States - featuring more than 175,000 sq ft of building space on 3 floors.  The YMCA facility is seated on the Rock River and includes 15 acres of river front property in partnership with the Rockford Park District.

With a current membership of 7,200 units or 12,000 people this operation is a must for individuals and families throughout Rockford.  While the YMCA comes with a long history of support and loyal members we continue to welcome all those who wish to join.  Come see for yourself as we have improved our facility with NEW fitness equipment in April 2012 OR enjoy our 6 raquetball & handball courts, 3 Group Fitness Studios, Powerful 40' climbing walls, 2 Gymnasiums, Family fun center, Adventure Center equipped with climbing apparatus for kids, 2 Large Indoor Pools, AND free child care while you work out in our beautiful facility!
