Child Care
with a Purpose (grades K-5)
The YMCA Community Outreach Branch and various area school
districts have teamed up in offering the School Age Center
Child Care Program. This high-quality child care program is
affordable and conveniently located right at your child's school.
In addition to providing child care in a safe, nurturing environment,
parents trust in knowing that all activities at the YMCA School
Age Center promote character development through caring, respect,
honesty and responsibility. This successful program has positively
influenced the lives of thousands of families.
By having a School Age Center at your child's school, the
YMCA endeavors to help you raise healthy children and make
your family even stronger. We look forward to serving you during
the school year.
Adventure Club
Adventure Club enables kids entering grades 1-7 and between the age of 6 and 13 to stay safe and have fun at the YMCA throughout the summer. Activities include archery, arts and crafts, games, tennis, swimming, field trips and more. All day summer camp program at both the Northeast Branch and ID Pennock Branch. Programs runs Monday through Friday from 6:45 am - 5:30 pm.
Camp Kinnikinnick
For youth between 6 and 13 years and entering 1st-7th grade in the 2008/2009 school year. Location is at Ledgewood School, 11685 South Gate Road in Roscoe. Full day schedule runs from 6:45 am - 5:30 pm; half day schedule runs from 6:45 am - 12:00 pm.
