Child Care Information

School Age Center Staff

• Specially trained adults
• Ongoing training required
• Background checked and drug tested
• CPR trained and certified
• There is one staff member for every 12 children.

School Age Center Curriculum:

• Arts and humanities
• Character development
• Wellness, health and fitness
• Homework assistance
• Reading assistance
• Social skills
• Self-esteem and problem solving

School's Out Club:

• On days when school is not is session School's Out Club is offered from 6:45 am to 5:30 pm. Child care is offered for children Kindergarten through 6th grade at the YMCA Log Lodge, the I.D. Pennock Branch (main Y building), or at Camp Winnebago. Registration forms are available prior to each scheduled day off.

Schedules:

• Based on the individual school’s start and finish times
• Before school care
• After school care
• Both before and after school
• 1-5 days a week
• School’s Out Club – Childcare on days when school is not in session
• 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• For kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade
• Held at the YMCA’s Pennock Center, Camp Winnebago, or YMCA Log Lodge
• Registration forms are available prior to each scheduled day off

Program Fees and Payment:

• Based on how often the program is used
• Calculated per morning or afternoon session – 1-5 days per week
• Payment may be made by check or money order
• Payment is due one week prior to the week of service
• Fees are posted at the School Age Center site location or call 489-1194
