I.D. Pennock Branch
LIFEGUARD/SWIM INSTRUCTOR
Part Time – Must be lifeguard certified. Applications are being accepted for several positions with various hours and days available. Several openings are for daytime hours. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.
FITNESS INSTRUCTORS
Experienced fitness instructors needed for the following classes: Monday evening Yoga class @ 7PM, Monday and Wednesday morning Low Impact Aerobics @ 8:30AM, Wednesday evening Pilates Mat Work @ 6:15PM, and Monday and Wednesday Morning AOA Strength Training @ 9:15AM.

TEAM DECK LEADER
Team Deck Leaders will serve as frontline liaisons for the YMCA to aquatic participants, parents and staff. They will be responsible for the daily organization and evaluation of all progressive swim classes and instructors. Team Deck Leaders will be responsible for assisting in the training of new staff and are required to teach a minimum of two classes per week. Hiring for summer session Monday and Wednesday mornings and evenings-Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday afternoons-and Saturday mornings. Applications accepted through May 1, 2008.
WELCOME CENTER REPRESENTIVE
You will be responsible for membership and program registrations, tours of the building, answering telephones, customer service needs and balancing cash transactions. Computer knowledge and phone skills required. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Applications will be accepted through 5/15/08.
BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Responsibilities include volunteer recruitment, special events coordinator, and will aid in grant writing. A Bachelors Degree in social work, human services or related field is required. Experience working with volunteers and grant writing is also required. This is a part-time position. Flexible hours Monday through Friday. Some nights and weekends. Applications will be accepted through 5/30/08.
NORTHEAST BRANCH
LIFEGUARDS/SWIM INSTRUCTORS
Weekday afternoon and evenings – Saturday mornings and other times depending on the schedule. You will teach preschool and youth swimming lessons, develop lesson plans, demonstrate sills to students and maintain a safe and enjoyable class. YMCA Lifeguard certification and/or American Red Cross Lifeguard certification, current CPA/AED, First Aid and Oxygenation Certifications also required.
